The Wankhede pitch has hosted 113 matches in the Indian Premier League to date. The teams batting first and second have nearly equal chances of winning the game. The pitch is very good for batting due to the nature of the wicket and small boundaries. Pacers do get some early swing but the batters mostly dominate the games in Mumbai. Chasing might be the best option considering the dew factor.

Team News
Mumbai Indians
MI are expected to play with the same eleven they used in the game against Kolkata. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan are set to open the inning with the bat but the duo have struggled a lot in recent games. Rohit and Ishan both would like to make a comeback in the match against SRH. Suryakumar Yadav scored a brilliant half-century in the last game and will try to replicate the same.
Hardik Pandya hasn't delivered this season and needs to work on himself as the World Cup is coming soon too. Tim David and Romario Shepherd have done an average job batting down the order and need to improve a lot. Nehal Wadhera and Tilak Varma both failed to score runs in the previous game.
Gerald Coetzee hasn't been consistent this season which is a huge worrying sign. Jasprit Bumrah, who is at the peak of his career, is delivering sensational spells in every game. Piyush Chawla bowled a tight spell and Nuwan Thushara also scalped three wickets in the game against KKR.

Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH won against RR in the last delivery of the game. That was not a convincing performance from Hyderabad and they would like to change that. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma's opening pair has been one of the most lethal duos of the tournament, but they couldn't perform in the previous three games. Travis Head did score a half-century in the last game but he has lost his touch which he will try to bring back as soon as possible.

Aiden Markram has scored runs here and there in the middle while their recruit Nitish Kumar Reddy is making the batting unit more stable than ever. Nitish scored 76 runs in the previous game and helped his side reach the 200-run mark. Shahbaz Ahmed and Abdul Samad are playing the role of finishers and they have done the job in some matches.
Heinrich Klaasen has played some match-winning innings this season and would like to replicate that if SRH needs him that way against MI. He played a stunning 19-ball 42-run inning in the previous game. SRH have been part of many high-scoring games. But, captain Pat Cummins and T Natarajan have been very good with the ball in hand.

Both the pacers bowled well in the previous game alongside Bhuveneshwar Kumar who scalped 3 wickets. It is going to be a box-office encounter at the Wankhede Stadium and a win here for SRH will very much guarantee their spot in the playoffs.
