Mithali Raj made the record of playing the highest number of matches in the Women's World Cup as a captain. The captain of the Indian women's team surpassed Australian legend Belinda Clark on Saturday in captaining the most World Cup matches.

During India's match against West Indies played at Seddon Park, she completed her 24th WC match as the captain. The 39-year-old completed 150 WODIs on Thursday as the skipper during the ongoing World Cup against New Zealand. In fact, Mithali also holds the record o playing the most matches as captain in all WODIs.
