Gayle tops here with 6 centuries in 142 matches. Overall he has aggregated 4965 runs throughout all the IPL seasons, that he played, with an average of 39.72 and a strike rate of 148.96.

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli holds the second position in this list with 5 IPL centuries. The most interesting part of the specific record is that Kohli did not score a single century until IPL 2016. IPL 2016 was the season that entirely changed the game for him and also was one of his best seasons. The former captain smashed 4 tons in that specific year and concluded the year with 973 runs. In fact, is the only captain in this T20 league with 5 tons. He hit these tons in 207 innings.

Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler is storming every day on the field in the ongoing IPL 2022. The Rajasthan Royals opener is sitting on this table at the third position with 4 IPL centries. Interestingly this time last year Buttler did not have a single century to his name and now he is the record holder of 4 IPL centuries. In the last 8 IPL innings, he successfully thrashed 4 centuries. With 3 IPL tons so far this season, he might soon break Virat Kohli's record in IPL as well. Presently, he is the orange cap holder with 491 runs with an average of 81.83 and a strike rate of 161.51.

KL Rahul

Watson joined his Aussie teammate David Warner in smashing 4 centuries in IPL in 141 innings. With 4 IPL centuries in 155 innings, David Warner is grabbing the 6th position in the list of most centuries in IPL history. He smashed his 1st century while playing for the Delhi Daredevils in 2010.
