David Warner with his fifty against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Delhi, extended his domination in IPL cricket's stats of most fifties in the tournament's history. Warner, batting at the top of the order for Delhi Capitals looked at his striking best with some cracking batting. With 5 fours and 3 boundaries, Warner completed his 62nd IPL fifty and went back to the dressing room after a stunning one-handed catch from Pathirana in IPL 2024. With this fifty, Warner also equalled Chris Gayle's record of most fifties in T20 cricket history (110). This brings us to present you all the players with the most fifty in IPl history.

1. David Warner | 62
The Aussie southpaw is at the top of the list with 62 IPL fifties against his name. Warner has been one the greatest openers in IPL history and was one of the reasons behind Sunrisers Hyderabad's success in 2016. Warner started his IPL career with the Delhi franchise, then called Delhi Daredevils, and was bought by Sunriseres Hyderabad in 2014. He then went on to become their captain in 2015 and then won the IPL title with them in 2016. Warner returned to the Delhi franchise in 2022. Warner was the first player to hit 50 fifties in IPL and has scored 6531 runs in 180 matches in the IPL so far. He has scored 4 centuries as well in Indian Premier League. Warner won the Orange cap on three occasions in 2015, 2017 and 2019.
2. Virat Kohli | 52
Virat Kohli, the highest run-getter in the Indian Premier League history, has scored 52 IPL fifties so far in his career. Kohli was picked by Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2008 right after his successful U19 World Cup in the same year. Till then he played for them for 17 consecutive years. He is the only player to play for a franchise for 17 years. Kohli holds the record for most IPL centuries (7) and also scored the most runs in a single season when he smashed 973 runs in the 2016 season. However, he won the Orange cap only on one occasion in 2016.
Till now Kohli has scored 7444 runs in 240 IPL matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
3. Shikhar Dhawan | 53
Dhawan, one of the most underrated players of Indian Premier League history comes at number three in the list of most IPL fifty in IPL. Famously known as "Gabbar", the southpaw opener is the second-highest run-getter in IPL history with 6754 runs in 220 IPL games till now. Along with that, he has the record for most fours in the tournament as well. Dhawan has played for four teams and won the IPL with SRH in 2016. The current Punjab Kings captain was also the first player to hit back-to-back centuries in the IPL.
