Chris Gayle is leading the table of most runs in T20 cricket history with 14562 runs in 463 matches. Gayle is clearly one of the most successful cricketers in T20 cricket. Gayle aggregated 4965 runs in 142 IPL matches and 1899 runs in 79 T20I matches.

Pakistan's Shoaib Malik is securing the second position on this list with 11698 runs in T20 cricket. He played 124 T20I matches in a span of 2006 to 2021 and aggregated 2435 runs. Also, he was a part of the inaugural edition of IPL, IPL 2008, where he played for Delhi Daredevils. He failed to contribute enough to the team. Malik scored only 52 runs in 7 matches and scalped 2 wickets in the league. He did not play further in IPL after the intense atmosphere due to the 2008 Mumbai attack.
Kieron Pollard
Kieron Pollard is one of the key members of his team, be it West Indies or Mumbai Indians in IPL. Pollard knows to break through in the match and win it as well. He has 11427 runs in T20 cricket, including 1569 runs in 101 T20I matches and 3271 runs in 179 IPL matches.
Aaron Finch

Aaron also registered his name in this list with 10444 runs in T20 cricket. The Australian cricketer has 2686 runs in 88 T20I matches to his name including 2 centuries and 15 half-centuries. Also, Finch played 87 IPL matches and has aggregated 2005 runs throughout. He will be seen playing for KKR in IPL 2022 as he joined the franchise at the price of INR 1.5 crore.
Virat Kohli
Sitting on the 5th position on this list, Virat Kohli took 327 T20 matches to aggregate 10314 runs. The former captain moved ahead of David Warner to secure the 5th spot after scoring a knock of 41 runs in RCB's opening match of IPL 2022 against Punjab Kings. The former captain also sits in the 3rd position of the most runs in T20I cricket as he aggregated 3296 in 97 matches.
