Jos Buttler presently is the highest scorer wicketkeeper. The vice-captain of the England cricket team in limited-overs featured in 67 T20I innings and aggregated 2003 runs. With an average of 37.79 and a high score of 101*, he hit 15 half-centuries and 1 century as well. He is currently one of the best batters and executed a marvelous performance in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

2. Mohammad Shahzad

Afghanistan's fiery opener Mohammad Shahzad is next up on this list with 1993 runs in 68 innings. The former cricketer played in 69 T20I innings with an average of 30.26. In these 69 matches, he scored 1 century and 12 half-centuries with the highest score being 118*.

3. Quinton de Kock

Quinton de Kock is sitting in the third position on the list of most runs in T20I cricket as a wicketkeeper with 1814 runs in 60 innings. The former Proteas captain has not scored a century in T20I yet but scored 11 half-centuries with the highest score being 79* and an average of 34.19.

4. Mahendra Singh Dhoni

One of the greatest wicket keepers of all time, Mahendra Singh Dhoni aggregated 1617 runs in 85 T20I innings. The former Indian captain hit 2 half-centuries with the highest score being 56. Also, his T20I average is 37.60.

5. Kumar Sangakkara
