New Zealand will be missing their skipper Kane Williamson, who is set to miss the third and final T20 due to injury. However, in his absence, pacer Tim Southee will lead the side. Williamson is expected to be available for the three-match ODI series starting from Friday. Coming to the second game, the Kiwis failed to chase the target set by the Indian side failing short by 65 runs.

Williamson was the only player who scored a half-century in this game scoring 61 runs off 52 deliveries. Coming to the bowling performance of the hosts, Southee took three wickets while Lockie took two. The blackcaps will be looking to steal a victory here to finish the series as a tie.

Meanwhile, for the Men in Blue, it’s the winning momentum they will be looking to keep up. Hardik Pandya and his men did a fantastic job in the second T20 be it in batting or bowling, they performed well in every department. Must mention performance was from Suryakumar Yadav who smashes his second T20I century in the game. He remained unbeaten on 111 in just 51 balls also winning the man of the match award.

In bowling, Deepak Hooda took four wickets while Chahal and Siraj took two each to restrict the Kiwis before 65 runs. Hardik and his men will be looking to keep their momentum going forward from here onwards.
