The rest three bowlers also grabbed a wicket each. The second encounter of the Kiwi side washed out due to rain as points were shared between the two. The Lankan bowlers failed to defend the total of 157 set by their batsmen as they lost the game by 7 wickets and 21 balls to spare. Theekshana, Chamika, and De Silva were the only bowlers to scalp a wicket each. Now, Shanaka and his men will be looking to bounce back to get to the top of the points table with a win here against the Kiwi side.
