On this day in 2021, India broke Australia's fortress and scripted history in Gabba. The Indian test team conquered Gabba and ended Australia's 32-year long winning streak at the venue. India won the 4th and the final test of the 4-match series at The Gabba by 3 wickets. And they also created history at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21 by 2-1.

Men in blue executed a proper team effort to clinch the series at the land of the hosts. Australia remained undefeated in Brisbane since 1988 until Ajinkya Rahane led-India, put an end to the long and unbeaten 32-year streak on this day last year.
The No. 1 test team led the series without the greats like Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, Hanuma Vihari, and Mohammed Shami. The bowling lineup was almost crumbling until the bowlers put forward their best to clinch the historical win.
This win is definitely one of the greatest victories for the Indian test team ever. The opener Shubhman Gill scored 91 runs and was supported by Cheteshwar Pujara. Even after getting hurt several times, Pujara slammed a half-century during his innings. The young wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant once again proved his class and smashed 89 runs. Some great partnerships and complete team performance by the men in blue helped India helped to win their most successful chase in Australia against the host.
