The New Zealand tour of Pakistan got called off on 17th September 2021 due to security reasons. After this decision, many members of the Pakistan Cricket Board raised voices against New Zealandโs decision to abandon the tour and are still in shock and disbelief. Ramiz Raja, the new chairman of PCB, is one of the many voices to express their disappointment on this sudden call-off decision of Pak vs NZ.

Moreover, New Zealand visited Pakistan after 18 years for Pak vs NZ and the security threat dismantled the entire series.
The newly-appointed PCB chairman is angry with the NEW Zealand Cricket to stop the series at the last minute suddenly. He took to social media to express his distress.
Crazy day it has been! Feel so sorry for the fans and our players. Walking out of the tour by taking a unilateral approach on a security threat is very frustrating. Especially when itโs not shared!! Which world is NZ living in??NZ will hear us at ICC.

Angelo Perera, the Sri Lanka Cricketer visited Pakistan 2 years back on a tour. He also shared the moments he cherished during that time and all the safety protocols.
