The New Zealand tour of Pakistan got called off on 17th September 2021 due to security reasons. After this decision, many members of the Pakistan Cricket Board raised voices against New Zealand’s decision to abandon the tour and are still in shock and disbelief. Ramiz Raja, the new chairman of PCB, is one of the many voices to express their disappointment on this sudden call-off decision of Pak vs NZ.
Moreover, New Zealand visited Pakistan after 18 years for Pak vs NZ and the security threat dismantled the entire series.
The newly-appointed PCB chairman is angry with the NEW Zealand Cricket to stop the series at the last minute suddenly. He took to social media to express his distress.
Babar Azam was one of the many Pakistan Cricket team’s members to tweet, “Extremely disappointed on the abrupt postponement of the series, which could have brought the smiles back for millions of Pakistan Cricket Fans. I’ve full trust in the capabilities and credibility of our security agencies. They are our pride and always will be! Pakistan Zindabad!”
