Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Kumar produced a superb effort with the bat as Mumbai Indians completed a gigantic 215-run chase against Punjab Kings and won the match by six wickets in Mohali on Wednesday. The pair added 116 runs for the third wicket after Mumbai were 54/2 in the powerplay. Ishan scored 75 in 41 balls before getting out to Arshdeep Singh. Nathan Ellis dismissed Surya Kumar Yadav, who scalped two wickets in his full quota. Tilak Varma and Tim David joined the chase and wrapped the contest with no issues. Jofra Archer came back into the attack and he started with a beamer against Livingstone. Following the beamer, Archer conceded four boundaries in his over as 21 runs came off the 13th over. Livingstone welcomed Arshad Khan with back-to-back boundaries. He and Jitesh then happily rotated the strike before Livingstone finished it with another boundary. The pair also brought up the 50-run partnership in 23 balls. The umpire signaled it wide as MI challenged the decision. TV officials directed the umpire to stick to his decision. 27 runs came off the over as PBKS reached 205/3 in 19 overs.

Akash Madhwal delivered an excellent final over as no boundaries came in it.
