The young batter scored an unbeatable ton and kept Mumbai on track while playing against Orissa in the elite group D match of Ranji Trophy 2022 on Friday. Sarfaraz Khan proved himself to be a reliable saver this season. He turned the match to Mumbai's favor in dire situations and helped the team to come back quite a few times in this season. Yet again he proved his caliber and executed an unbelievable knock of 107 runs. He made a total of 107* in 117 balls with some amazing partnerships with Armaan Jaffer and Prithvi Shaw.

The young gun was well supported by his schoolmate Armaan Jaffer. Armaan scored an unbeatable knock of 77 runs. The opener Prithvi Shaw hit a half-century in between. Three of these top-order batters took Mumbai to 259-3. Mumbai also dismissed Orissa on the second day for 284 runs
