Rishabh Pant is on his way to the Recovery

Pant had also shared a photo of himself playing chess on his Instagram story a few days ago. A table on a terrace, there was a chess board with some pieces in front of him, as well as an empty chair. He appeared to be playing chess with someone, but it is not clear who he was playing with. He even accompanied the photo with the cryptic caption, "Can anyone guess who's playing?"

Pant had also given an update on his surgery for a ligament tear. "I am humbled and grateful for all the support and good wishes," Pant wrote on Twitter. "I am glad to let you know that my surgery was a success. The road to recovery has begun and I am ready for the challenges ahead. Thank you to the @BCCI, @JayShah & government authorities for their incredible support."

Pant thanked all his fans, teammates, doctors, and physios for their kind words and encouragement. It is expected that he will take a long time to recover and will miss important events such as the IPL 2023 and, possibly, the ODI World Cup later this year. From such an accident, it's still early for anyone to start their progress in the struggling recovery times. Recoveries from injury are always hard and in Pant's case it is way bigger than a sports injury, so it will surely take time to recover from such a situation but a player like Pant knows to fight back in any situation. In this game of coming back, he has to score a century or more to be back with all strength.
