Two batters came across and scored centuries today. Unfortunately, one had to finish at the loser's end. Klaasen fought alone for Hyderabad and scored his maiden ton in the IPL. Hyderabad posted 186 runs after losing the toss. Bangalore didn't struggle for once and chased the total easily. Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis constructed a partnership of 172 runs and made it easy. Virat Kohli scored his sixth IPL century during the SRH vs RCB clash and kept their playoff hope alive.

Klaasen scored his maiden ton in IPL
Heinrich Klaasen scored a 49-ball century in the Indian Premier League clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on Thursday. The South African wicketkeeper-batter played a blistering inning of 104 runs in just 51 deliveries. He scored eight fours and six sixes to reach the mark. This is Klaasen's maiden ton in the history of IPL.
Heinrich Klaasen got to his hundred with a massive six straight down the ground against Harshal Patel, getting to the mark faster than any other SRH player. This was also his second T20 hundred and his highest IPL score, and also the seventh ton of this IPL season.
The 31-year-old, along with Harry Brook, helped SRH to reach a competitive total against the playoff-chasing RCB. Heinrich Klaasen has been the most exceptional and consistent batter for Hyderabad this season. SRH posted 186 runs after losing five wickets at the end of their 20-over inning. Siraj was the best bowler for Bangalore as he conceded only 17 in his 4-over spell. He also got away with Phillips' wicket at the end.
SRH vs RCB: Virat Kohli smashed his sixth IPL century as RCB defeated SRH by 8 wickets
You just can't right off Virat Kohli out of the game. This was Kohli's sixth century in the competition, taking him level with his former teammate Chris Gayle for the most hundreds in the IPL. The former RCB skipper got to his hundred with a flicked six over mid-on off Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Kohli, whose last IPL century came in 2019, started with two back-to-back boundaries off Bhuvneshwar to start his side's chase against SRH.
The 34-year-old smashed 12 fours and four sixes and was ably backed by his skipper Faf du Plessis as the duo put on a record partnership to practically seal the game for RCB. Four of Kohli's six centuries came in his record-breaking 2016 season when he accumulated an IPL-high 973 runs. Kohli was dismissed by Bhuvneshwar right after he got to the three-figure mark, as he holed out to Glenn Phillips in the deep.
Skipper Du Plessis scored 71 runs in 47 deliveries and secured the victory for RCB. Bangalore are now 4th on the table with a game in hand. They have a very good chance to qualify by winning against Gujarat Titans on their last matchday.
