Suryakumar Yadav becomes the number 1 ranked batsman in the ICC T20 ranking

Team India's star batsman Suryakumar Yadav has occupied the No.1 position in the new T20 rankings released by the ICC. Surya, who has scored two consecutive fifties in the T20 World Cup 2022, has succeeded in overtaking Pakistan's Mohammad Rizwan in the recent ICC T20 ranking. On the other hand, Rizwan has slipped a notch and has come to the second position.

Suryakumar Yadav has 863 points in the latest ICC T20 ranking. On the other hand, Mohammad Rizwan is in second place with 842 points. New Zealand's experienced opener Devon Conway and Pakistan captain Babar Azam are in third and fourth place respectively. Conway has 792 points, while Babar Azam has 780 points. Indian veteran batsman Virat Kohli is also named in the top 10. He is at 10th position with 638 points.

Suryakumar Yadav played his first T20 match in the year 2021 against England in Ahmedabad. However, he did not get a chance to bat in this match. But he, starting his career from here, has played 37 T20 International matches till the time of writing the news for the Indian.

Meanwhile, 1179 runs have been scored from his bat in 35 innings at an average of 40.65. Yadav has one century and 11 fifties to his name in T20 cricket. His strike in T20 cricket is 177.02. His two most recent innings in Australia indicate that the right-handed batsman is a 360* player.
