England has just defeated the hosts and reigning world champions, Australia, at their home. In fact, that 2-0 series win will surely boost their confidence when they find themselves in the Super 12 along with New Zealand, Afghanistan, the Aussies, and two qualifiers from the first round. Let's take a look at their strengths and weaknesses below.
Strengths
The Three Lions boast a formidable batting unit comprising skipper Buttler, star allrounders Ben Stokes and Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone, and at the same time, there will be Alex Hales who returns into the mix. Also, the presence of Harry Brook and Dawid Malan makes the batting department quite healthy and provides much-needed depth.
England's frontline bowlers in David Willey, Chris Woakes, Sam Curran, and Mark Wood have already justified their selections in the 3-match T20I against arch-rivals. Curran was the highest wicket-taker with five scalps in two matches while Woakes, Wood, and Topley snared three apiece.

Weakness
Now talking about the weakness in the England squad, the first major thing is the bowler's form. Although, England has some talented bowlers in the squad their form wasn't up to the mark in the last series. However, they performed better in the warm-up game against Pakistan recently. Talking about their middle order it's one of the best in the tournament.
The main concern for Jos Buttler will be selecting the top three with Malan, Hales, and Salt in the race with the skipper. It's expected that Jos and team England will form a strong top three and give some good challenges to their opponents.
