Team India, who started their T20 World Cup 2022 journey with a win, got a bad lunch in Sydney. According to BCCI sources, the food was found in lunch after the practice session on Tuesday. Indian players are not happy with that. India is up against Netherlands in Sydney tomorrow. The players got poor-quality of food and it was also cold. The BCCI has complained about this to the ICC.
According to BCCI sources, Team India did not conduct the practice session as management offered a practice venue in Blacktown (a suburb of Sydney). They refused, as it is 42 km away from the hotel, where they are staying. The food served to the team was not good. They only get sandwiches and after that they complained ICC that the food served after the practice session in Sydney was cold.
Therefore, the Indian players considered it appropriate to side with him and eat only fruit. After the practice session, the players have lunch in the field and then go to the hotel by the team bus. But, the same thing was not seen in Sydney. In such a situation, some players ate the Turkish dish Falafel, while some worked by eating only fruits. All the players of the team went to the hotel after practice and ate food again.
The Indian team won its first T20 World Cup 2022 match against Pakistan with a bang style. They would like to ease the way to the semi-finals by winning the match against Netherlands. After Netherlands, India will face teams like South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Bangladesh.
