Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja has made a big disclosure about Indian team captain Rohit Sharma. He revealed that he had planned with Babar Azam to take the wicket of Rohit Sharma in the T20 World Cup 2021 last year.

"Babar Azam was here with the Chief Selector before leaving for the World Cup, and I asked him what are your plans against India. Ramiz Raja said on a BBC podcast.

"I can tell you how to get rid of Rohit Sharma right now and Babar was intrigued." He added.

In the T20 World last year, Team India had to face a crushing defeat by 10 wickets against Pakistan. India had lost to Pakistan for the first time in a World Cup. In that match, Rohit Sharma lost his wicket without opening the account. Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed Rohit Sharma without troubling the scorers in the first match.

"I said get Shaheen Afridi bowling at 100mph, get a man at short-leg. Just bowl that inswinging yorker at 100mph and do not give him a single and keep him on strike. You will get him out," recalled Ramiz.

Rohit Sharma lost his wicket in front of middle stump and was dismissed on a golden duck. Pakistan ended their winless streak against India in the World Cup events by winning the match by ten wickets.

Team India has reached Australia for the T20 World Cup 2022. India will play against its arch-rivals Pakistan in the World Cup on October 23. By defeating Pakistan this time, Team India would like to equalize their previous defeat where they had to face defeat by 10 wickets.
