4 cricketers of the Zimbabwe U-19 World Cup 2022 squad tested Covid positive on Monday. The cricketers are quarantining in the West Indies.

4 cricketers of the Zimbabwe U-19 World Cup 2022 squad tested Covid positive on Monday. The cricketers are quarantining and self-isolating in the West Indies. Zimbabwe Cricket announced the news of these 4 players after they went through PCR tests. They also said they are "well and asymptomatic".

Zimbabwe will play against Canada and Bangladesh in the official warm-up matches on 9 January and 11 January respectively. On the other hand, Zimbabwe's first match in the U-19 World Cup 2022 match is against Afghanistan on 16 January. The players need to test again before joining the squad in St Kitts and Nevis.
