Virat Kohli has been fined 10 percent of his match fees for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the match of yesterday against CSK at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday. While Kohli admitted the Level 1 offense under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
There was no formal hearing from BCCI as for Level 1 breaches, the Match Referee's decision is final. Though the release did not give out any detailed information about the actual incident that attracted a breach of the Code of Conduct for Kohli, it is suspected that it was due to his aggressive celebration after CSK all-rounder Shivam Dube was dismissed.

It happened in the 17th over of the CSK innings, when Shivam Dube struck a ball of Wayne Parnell to the boundary, but it fell inches short to cross the boundary line. Mohammed Siraj took the catch and dismissed Dube from the game. This was a huge wicket for RCB as Dube was taking the game away from RCB. Kohli and the RCB celebrated the wicket of Dube and Kohli looked at Dube with a screaming face. This incident might not go in his favor and let him get fined.
