BCCI has confirmed that the Women's T20 Challenge 2022 will start on 23rd May and will continue till 28th May 2022. The tournament will be held at Pune's MCA stadium. Like the previous season, the tournament will have three teams.

The BCCI had already confirmed that the Women's IPL will take place from the 2023 season and all the IPL teams have been asked if they want to make women's teams of their own as well.

The group games of the Women's T20 Challenge 2022 will be held on May 23, 24 and 26. Meanwhile, the final will take place on the 28th of May. Trailblazers are the defending team of the tournament having won the trophy in the 2020 season.

However, the Supernovas are the most successful team in the tournament. They won the tournament on the first two occasions. Hence, Velocity is the only team who is yet to win the tournament.
