The hosts lost the first game of the series by a huge margin of 10 wickets. They failed to take any wicket of the Indian team as Indian openers Dhawan and Gill took India home within 31 overs. Moreover, in batting, they gradually failed to put up a good total on the board and finished on a low score of 189. Zimbabwe will be hoping for a bounce back in the series with a win as their recent form isn’t that bad.

Meanwhile, for the Men in Blue, it’s an easy win for them in the first ODI with both the openers smashed half-century to guide India home. Indian Bowlers did a great job in the first innings as Deepak Chahar made a great comeback to the Indian side. He won the man of the match award also for his brilliant bowling in the first ODI. It was KL Rahul’s first victory as captain of team India in international cricket.
