Match: IND vs ENG, 5th T20I, England tour of India, 2021
Date: Thursday, March 20, 2021
Time: 7:00 PM
Venue : Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad
There was a lot of dew on the ground for the 4th T20 match at Motera Stadium. Though, India bowlers were able to defend a score in excess of 180 by mixing the deliveries. The main reason for the dew has been cloud cover during the evening, which did not allow the water vapours in the air to evaporate thus forming the dew.
There is a forecast of hazy sunshine and a thin blanket of cloud cover on March 20 at Motera. So, if it remains as forecast suggested then again pitch will be out of contention and dew will take the centre stage during IND vs ENG 5th T20 match.
England head to head stats in T20 Internationals.

India Playing XI for 5th T20: Virat Kohli unlikely to make any changes for the series decider between IND vs ENG
India Playing XI for 5th T20 – Ind vs Eng Series Decider: A narrow 8-run victory in the 4th T20I ensured India remained in the hunt for the T20I series title against England in the ongoing 5-match series.
With the series decider slated for Saturday, Virat Kohli and the Indian think tank are unlikely to make any changes in the line-up. This means despite of 4 failures now KL Rahul will play and Ishan Kishan will again sit-out.
Ind vs Eng 5th T20 – KL Rahul or Ishan Kishan in Indian Playing XI? If at all anyone's place in the playing XI for the 5th T20 will be debated in the team meeting i.e of KL Rahul. Despite of 4 failures, Indian team management is unlikely to drop Rahul from the XI. This means Ishan Kishan will again have to be benched.
Kishan made a brilliant debut – but failed in 3rd T20 and was benched 'because of niggle in the 4th T20 against England'. It is unlikely that captain Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri will give a chance to Kishan ahead of Rahul.
This means Rahul-Rohit duo will open for India once again in the 5th T20 with both yet to score anything meaningful in the series.
"I ran for a ball and threw it and I just aggravated my leg a little bit and I didn't want to make it into a niggle or an Injury. We have another game in two days and I took the smart decision of going out. So, I'm fine and it's nothing serious." – Virat Kohli Last Night Interview.
So Don't worry, King is fine.
Washington Sundar – Spinners haven't been successful in the series so far and the same goes for Washington Sundar, the bowler. While he was successful in the 3rd T20I, on Thursday, he had a hard time against Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow. But with India needing batting depth, he is expected to retain his place in the Playing XI.
England might be go unchanged. Jofra Archer seems to be in great form. So is Mark Wood. Perhaps, Wood has been excellent with his serious pace and wicket taking abilities.
Ben Stokes' last inning will give him confidence. However, the form of Eoin Morgan is a concern for the visiting team. Adil Rashid has once again got the better of Virat Kohli. He will be the main man from England in your Dream 11 team.
Whereas, Sam Curran has not flourished with the bat. However, England will once again trust on the all-rounder to give them the all important win.
