Gavi, the Spaniard has become the youngest player to get his hands on a trophy for Spain after their Nations league triumph for the first time.
Gavi, one of the most influential teenage footballers in recent times.
Gavi, the golden boy from Barcelona has shattered many records to his name at a very young age and last Sunday was another one of those days.
As Spain became the Nations League Champions for the first time, Gavi has become the youngest player to lift a title for Spain, which is a huge honour for a teenager. He was an integral part of the team which makes this achievement even special.
He also has the record of being the youngest ever player to score in the World Cup, a record which previously belonged to Pele. He made his professional debut for Spain in the Nation's League semi final which also made him the youngest ever player to represent his country.
At the age of 18 and 110 days, he made his World Cup debut against Costa Rica, which made him the third youngest player to play for his country. Spain won the match quite comfortably with a 7-0 deficit but that was not the most extraordinary thing that has happened that day. Gavi scored in that match, fired one through from outside of the box, which then ended up in the back of Keylor Navas's net, making him the youngest player to ever score in a World Cup match for Spain, a record which previously had Cesc Fàbregas's name on it.
Not only in the world stages, he's also shining for his club. At such a young age he's instrumental in Xavi's Barcelona. He helped Xavi in winning the La Liga for the first time. The teenager has a €1 billion (£870 million) release clause to his name until June 2026. This alone shows show much confident the club is about him.
The Barca wonderkid has also won the Golden Boy trophy and the Kopa trophy in 2022 for being the most impressive under-21 player on the field.
