Kahn wasn't at the RheinEnergieStadion for the final game of the season as Bayern secured their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title due to having the flu. His successor has already been determined.
It was decided at a supervisory board meeting, called at short notice, that Jan-Christian Dreesen, most recently CFO and Deputy CEO, will succeed Kahn. The 55-year-old has been at the club since 2013.
