In Chelsea news, Chelsea have opened discussions with Benfica for the transfer of Enzo Fernandez after the Argentine agreed to move. While, agreement was reached with Monaco to sign Benoit Badiashile, with the Frenchman now set to complete a £34 million move.
Chelsea complete the signing of Badiashile
According to The Athletic, the two clubs have reached a "total agreement" for the transfer of the 21-year-old, and Chelsea are now scheduling his medical ahead of an official announcement.
Badiashile will sign a long-term deal at Stamford Bridge subject to those fitness checks being completed, with the Blues set to fork out around €38m for his services. The centre-back was left out of Monaco's squad to face Brest in Ligue 1 on New Year's Day as officials from Chelsea continue to work on the transfer.
Graham Potter and Chelsea are set for a busy window as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the second half of the season. Currently sitting in ninth in the Premier League after 15 games, the Blues will be hoping that Badiashile, along with other January signings, can give them fresh hope in the race for Champions League football.

Chelsea News: Enzo Fernandez agrees to join Chelsea
The midfielder starred for his country as Lionel Messi guided Argentina to World Cup glory in Qatar earlier this month.
Fernandez, 21, was already on the radar of top European clubs before his performances at the World Cup but his displays have cemented his status as one of the brightest midfield talents on the globe.
Liverpool and Manchester United have both shown interest in Fernandez but have been put off by Benfica's insistence that he will only be sold if a club activates his £106m release clause.
But, after informally contacting the Argentine, Chelsea have convinced the midfielder to move to Stamford Bridge.
They therefore believe they can use Fernandez's agreement to negotiate a lower price and Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea are now in active talks with Benfica over a transfer.
Graham Potter has identified midfield as an area in need of urgent investment, given the uncertainty over the futures of N'Golo Kante and Jorginho.
Despite a £300m spend in the summer, Todd Boehly has promised more funds to Potter after the Blues' mixed start to the campaign.
