Mohammedan SC fans runs a riot in the Yuba Bharati Kridangan in the Durand Cup 2022 match between Mohammedan SC and Bangaluru FC, which ended up as a 1-1 draw.

At halftime, Mohammedan was leading 1-0 with the only goal by Pritam Singh. However, in the 74th minute, Mohamedan player Avishek Halder got his second yellow card which gradually changes things for the Mohammedan SC. Avishek got off the ground with a Red Card while Mohammedan played the rest of the game with ten players.
After that, things heated up, and eventually, they conceded a goal in the 90th minute. Siva Sakthi scored a goal in the last minute which helped Bengaluru FC to draw the match.
Soon after the draw fans started to throw bottles to the ground and destroyed the banners and started riots in the stadium. They broke many chairs while also they destroyed the banners. Meanwhile, many bottles were also thrown from the VIP stand of the Yuba Bharati Krirangan.
Then Police came to the rescue and they caught a boy who was destroying the chairs of the stadium during the Durand Cup 2022 match. The fans of Mohammedan SC destroyed the government properties in the riot after the match ended.

Mohammedan SC finishes as Group A topper and qualifies for the quarters. They will now face Kerala Blasters in the quarter-finals. Meanwhile, Bengaluru FC also qualifies for the quarters where they will play Odisha FC.
