There is plenty of good news for the Cityzens, as Ilkay Gundogan has been declared fit for the final. He has been one of the clubโ€™s best players this season and having him available is a big boost for Manchester City. Joao Cancelo the Portuguese defender is also back after completing his domestic suspension. There are no other injury or suspension worries at the moment that will help Pep to pick the best possible team and bring home the UEFA Champions League title for City for the very first time in their history. The manager might not start Sergio Aguero which is his last game for City this season. Pep might stick with his usual front three with Phil Foden playing centrally.

Edouard Mendy was taken off mid-match against Aston Villa which sprinkled doubts about his availability for the UCL final. Mendy suffered an injury to his ribs when he collided with the post. However, Tuchel updated the Mendy status yesterday stating itโ€™s not too serious which means he is good to go. Midfield maestro Nโ€™Golo Kante seemingly suffered a reoccurrence of the hamstring injury that has plagued him during the home stretch of the season. He had to be subbed off early, and missed out on the Championship Sunday loss to Aston Villa. Later, Tuchel confirms Kante has been to training and can start on Saturday.
