Build Up
Mohun Bagan Super Giant are on a dream run of an unbeaten streak; standing atop the league table with 23 points in 10 matches. Mohun Bagan's defence has been a rock-solid wall since their 0-3 defeat against Bengaluru in September 2024, as the Mariners have kept 6 clean-sheets in their last 7 games. They also managed to salvage 19 points of the possible 21 in these seven games. However, after securing a convincing 2-0 win over NorthEast United in their previous match in Guwahati, Mohun Bagan will leave no stone unturned to keep their winning streak intact at the VYBK.
The Jose Molina-coached side is already three points ahead of the second-boy Bengaluru FC with one game in hand, as they have a golden opportunity to solidify their first position in the league table.
Kerala Blasters FC are in total contrast to their opponents tonight; losing 4 out of their last 5 ISL games and currently standing in the 10th position of the table with 11 points in 11 matches. The super-six qualification dream is fading away for the Manjappada, while they will face the mighty Mariners in an away game tonight. Only one win in their last six away games may also worry the Kerala side ahead of this all-important clash. Coming from a distressing 2-4 defeat against Bengaluru in the last game, Kerala Blasters will be adamant to secure a point tonight.
Coach Mikael Stahre will have to look for ways to find a crack in Mohun Bagan's formidable defence as the game will not be short of entertainment and drama tonight.
