For the first time in many years, Aston Villa will be playing in Europe so it is necessary for them to make marquee signings.

With Emi Buendia suffering a serious knee injury in training last week, Unai Emery was keen to get a replacement for him as he's set to miss a large part of the season.

He also won the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2022 with Roma before agreeing to a move to Galatasaray, where he won the league last season.
