Christian Eriksen had a very tough year in 2021. After his major sickness that led the whole world into a shock, it was sure if any club would allow the Denish international to play or not. Finally, good news has arrived as the latest football transfer news confirms that Christian Eriksen to Brentford is confirmed. Lack of game time and his current medical condition has forced him to make the transfer.

The 29-year old striker was playing in the Serie A for Inter Milan that won the domestic title after 11 years. However, Eriksen could only feature in 26 games for the Milan side. Eriksen is currently training with the AFC Ajax to prepare for his Premier League return.
Brentford, who is currently at number 14 on the Premier League points table, will look for a few points after the inclusion of Eriksen. Eriksen is very well known to Brentford coach Thomas Frank. Perhaps, Thomas was the coach of the Denmark u-17 team that had Eriksen as a young talent.

Eriksen has already spent a decade in the top flight of European football. His stint at Tottenham Hotspur gave the spurs much success as well. In his 226 appearances for the Spurs, Eriksen scored 51 times. Meanwhile, he assisted 62 times for the team from London.
At his best, Christian has the ability to dictate games of football. He can find the right passes and is a goal threat. He also has very, very good set-piece delivery, both from corners and direct free kicks. He is a player you can find with the ball, and he will come up with a solution to the problem in front of him. Christian will also bring the experience of top-level football to the Club. I expect him to have an impact in the dressing room and at the Training Ground.
