Bengaluru FC remains in contention for the semi-finals of the ISL 2021-22 season. Last night Bengaluru FC took down Odisha FC by a 2-1 scoreline, which changed the momentum of the rankings. The Blues who were struggling to enter the top half of the table at the beginning of the season are now inching towards the top 4.
However, the match was not fully under control at that point as the Blues were trailing by a goal early in the game. But Farooq-Bhat and Cleiton Silva were there to rescue their team from the trouble. As the 31st-minute equaliser gave the hopes back on which Silva added more with his no mistake penalty in the 50th minute of the match.

Bengaluru FC has bounced back from behind after all hopes were gone. From 10th to 5th and inches away from qualifying for the Semi-Finals, The Blues did a great job to hold their composure.
The current league standings are Hyderabad FC is at the top of the table with 32 points from 17 matches. On 2nd we see Jamshedpur FC with 31 points. ATK Mohun Bagan with 30 and Bengaluru FC and Kerala Blasters with 27, and all the teams have played 16 matches each.
