In the latest ISL 2022, Hyderabad FC qualified for their first semi-finals in their club's history after defeating Kerala Blasters by 2-1.
Bartholomew Ogbeche opened the account for Nizams with his brilliant strike in the 28th minute of the match. Rohit Danu's brilliant-headed pass landed right onto Ogbeche's feet which helped him to position himself to shoot.
The Tuskers almost equalized after a brilliant attempt from Chencho after he received a great pass from Khabra.
ISL 2022: The Crunching Second Half
The second half started with both sides attacking in the same manner. For Kerala Blasters it was again Chencho who came forward with the attack, however, he was handled well with the 1 on 1 against Kattimani. Following a wonderful attempt from Khabra from a corner which deflected off the post and; Luna showed his skills to break through but his shot was headed straight for the keeper.
At the other end, Prabhsukuan Gill kept the Hyderabad attacks at bay. But finally, at the dying minutes of the match, The Nizams sealed their victory with a brilliant-headed goal from Javier Siverio doubling the margin in the 87th minute. Hyderabad FC now has 35 points from 18 games and is in pole position. However, Kerala Blasters replied with one back at the end of the 90 minutes; but it was too late to make a comeback.
