Kerala Blasters FC faced Jamshedpur FC in the 11th match of the ISL 2023-24 season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Sunday, October 1. The Blasters won their second ISL game by defeating Jamshedpur FC 1-0 after a dominant display. The scoresheet is unable to show the brilliance of the Kerala side but they were the side who came to clinch the three points. After a goalless first half, the visitors started the second half on a front foot and created back-to-back opportunities. Jamshedpur couldn't find the back of the net. After the substitutions, Adrian Luna scored the only goal of the evening with Diamantakos' assist.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur FC came on the back of a good defensive performance away from home. They secured a point after a brave defending display against East Bengal FC. They also were brilliant defensively today against the home side but to win a game, a team need to score goals. But for now, they haven't opened their copy yet.

Danish tries to provide a pass to Peprah. The pass is not accurate and also has a lot of weight on it and Peprah could not reach the ball.
Manzorro steals the ball from Pritam. Manzorro makes a run to his right and tries to spread the ball to him. Len came up with a brilliant block from getting the ball.
Both teams seem intent on winning the midfield battle.
Chima's cross reaches Barla, who looks to create something. He goes toe-to-toe with Aimen and tries to get past him, but the Blaster player stays strong and steals the ball to end the JFC attack.
Rehenesh collects Luna's overhit ball comfortably.
Doungel sees a yellow card for stopping Luna from taking a quick free kick.
The Blasters certainly cannot complain about home support. The atmosphere is fantastic.

Ricky sees a yellow card for his late challenge on Luna. It could have been a red because it was not only a late challenge but also a two-footed one.
Prabir Das had a good opportunity to find a teammate from a freekick. His delivery wasn't perfect as he sent the ball out of play.
A brilliant attacking move by the Blasters. Daisuke got the ball on the right flank and passed to Luna, who combined with Diamantakos for a wonderful one-two. Diamantakos opens the JFC defence with his flick and Luna sends the ball to the far corner with a first-time finish.
