Yesterday, Odisha FC had announced the signing of Raynier Fernandes on a loan deal from Mumbai. With Raynier and Vinit swapping sides on loan deals, both the sides appear to have got a good deal for themselves. Mumbai, with injuries plaguing Rowlin Borges, needed a reliable Indian option at the center of the park and Vinit fits the bill perfectly.

In the case of Odisha, players like Thoiba Singh and recent arrival Osama Malik will bolster their midfield in Vinit's absence, and Raynier Fernandes will provide them with a very dependable alternative in the attacking-midfield position.
