Bayern Munich clinched their 32nd Bundesliga title after a thrilling match against KΓΆln at the RheinEnergieStadion. Although it couldn't happen if Dortmund won their respective game against Mainz but they played a draw with a last-minute goal from Niklas SΓΌle. Bayern's game was also going toward a draw but the 20-year-old Musiala scored a goal in the final minutes of the game and won the game for Bayern Munich. Bayern won the title based on the goal difference (54). Read the Match Report of the Koln vs Bayern clash and share your thoughts in the comments.

Kingsley Coman didn't take long to give his team an important lead in the match. Sane drove forward and dropped a pass off for Sane, who took a step inside and fired with accuracy into the far corner, and Coman didn't make any mistake. Bayern continued to bombard the opposition's defence but didn't find any openings in the first half.
Bayern were not only in the lead in their game but also for the title as Dortmund were already 2 goals behind in their clash against Mainz in the Signal Iduna Park. KΓΆln started to get at the Bayern defence in the 40th minute as Maina swung in a cross. There were shouts for a handball against Gravenberch, but it was not given. Sane doubled the lead in the later stages of the first half but it chalked off for a concussion during the build-up. The First Half ended with a 1-0 scoreline while Dortmund were still behind in their game.

KΓΆln started with great intensity right after the beginning of the second half. KΓΆln gave as good as they get. A goal for them would send Dortmund back to the title top of the table as they were still behind in their respective match. Sommer pulled off a sensational save to prevent Selke from heading in a Kainz corner. Another corner caused problems for Bayern. It's headed down for Skhiri, but he couldn't direct the ball on target under pressure from a blue shirt.
Another twist in the tale as Ljubicic fired in a penalty after a VAR check confirmed a handball. It felt like a goal for Dortmund as they were losing to Mainz but still could top of the table if Bayern drew their match. After a few minutes, Dortmund equalised and it was not a good sign for Bayern. In the 89th minute, SchwΓ€be stopped Sane at point-blank range, but Bayern kept the chances alive. Musiala worked his magic on the edge of the box and fired into the bottom corner. Bayern were back in the match as Dortmund were still losing their game. Bayern's game ended with a 2-1 scoreline. Dortmund scored their second goal in the 96th minute but couldn't find the winner. Bayern Munich clinched their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title and 32nd overall. Unfortunately, Borussia Dortmund lost the title based on goal difference.

FC Bayern Munich are the most successful team in Bundesliga history with 34 German Championship titles. Here are the teams with most Bundesliga titles.
The Bundesliga is the top-division tournament in German football. The competition was founded in 1962, and the first season began in 1963. The Bundesliga replaced the German national championship, which was the first tournament in German football history. And since then only one club has dominated with most Bundesliga titles.
The German national championship, which was founded in 1903 and ran for 60 years, was a knockout competition contested between winners of each of the country's top regional leagues.
The founding member teams of the Bundesliga are 1860 Munich, Cologne, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Braunschweig, Eintracht Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hertha Berlin, Kaiserslautern, Karlsruhe, PreuΓen MΓΌnster, MSV Duisburg, Nuremberg, SaarbrΓΌcken, Schalke, Vfb Stuttgart and Werder Bremen.
Bayer Leverkusen became the 13th team to win the Bundesliga title in the 2023-24 season.
Besides the Bundesliga, which operated in West Germany, the DDR-Oberliga was the top-level football league in Soviet-controlled East Germany. Following the reunification of Germany, the Bundesliga became the national league of the country.
The Bundesliga started as a 16-team tournament but would soon expand to 18 teams from 1965.
In a one-off event, the league played the 1991-92 season with 20 teams following the reunification, but would return to its 18-team format in the following campaign.
There have been 13 different winners of the Bundesliga since its inception in 1963.
FC Koln, or FC Cologne in English, won the first-ever Bundesliga season in 1963-64. The Billy Goats maintained a six-point advantage over second-placed Meidericher SV (39) and scored in each of the 30 league games played in the inaugural edition.
Karl-Heinz Thielen (16 goals) and Christian MΓΌller (15 goals) finished as the top scorers for the team in the championship-winning season.
Who has won the most Bundesliga titles?
Bayern Munich lead the Bundesliga winners list with 34 titles. The Bavarians won their maiden Meisterschale in the 1968-69 season, with an eight-point cushion and legendary forward Gerd Muller contributing 30 goals. They are the most dominant German team and have won the most Bundesliga titles.

Their incredible run began in 2012-13 under the management of Jupp Heynckes, which was broken in the 2023-24 season by Bayer Leverkusen.

As Liverpool FC won their second title of the Premier League era, let's look at the clubs with the most Premier League titles in the history of English Football.
Premier League, also known as the English Premier League, is a top-tier football league in England. This league consists of 20 teams in a league system with a relegation and promotion system to/from the English Championship.
Each team plays 38 matches against every other team, 19 at home and away. The seasons generally start in August and run till May. The Premier League is the most-watched sports league globally and is broadcast in over 200 territories with an average number of viewers of 4.7 billion.
As Liverpool FC won their second title of the Premier League era, we will look at the clubs with the most Premier League titles in the history of English Football.
The Football League First Division was the top-tier football league in England from 1888. But in the post-1970s and early 1980s, the league started to reach a low point with incidents like the 1985 Heysel Stadium disaster, which banned them from UEFA Competitions for five years.
But after England reached the 1990 FIFA World Cup semi-finals, the downward trend started to reverse. The stadium started to get filled, and the Taylor Report on stadium safety standards also helped clubs to create better standard stadiums.
After a dispute over TV rights and maximising the club revenue, the big five clubs, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, and Arsenal, opted to come out of the Football League First Division and create another league.
At the close of the 1990-91 season, the FA Premier League was formed, and from 1992-93 the Premier League era started with 22 teams. Manchester United were the first Premier League champions and went on to win seven of the first nine trophies.
Who has won the most Premier League titles?
Till now, 51 teams have played in the Premier League since the tournament was rebranded in 1992. 7 teams have successfully won the Premier League title.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham are considered the 'Big Six' in the Premier League. Unfortunately, Tottenham haven't lifted any major title in their history, but still, they go toe to toe with every club and take part in the title race.
Manchester United, with 13 Premier League titles since 1992, are the most successful club in the Premier League era.

Blackburn Rovers was one of the 22 founding members of the Premier League era. They won the Premier League a long time ago in the 1994-95 season. Alan Shearer, with 34 goals for them, was the top scorer of the season. However, they were relegated in the 1998β99 season, becoming one of the 42 teams that were relegated as the Premier League champions.
Right after two seasons, they were promoted again in the 2000-01 season, but they were relegated yet once again, and that too in the same season. Unfortunately, they have not returned to the Premier League since then.
5. Liverpool FC - 2 titles

The Anfield Giants are one of the most popular English Clubs. Midfield maestros Steven Gerrard and William Shankly were a few of the legends that the club produced.
However, Liverpool had to wait for 30 years for their first-ever Premier League title. The club won the Premier League once in 2019-20 under German tactician Jurgen Klopp. That was Liverpool's nineteenth overall title in England's top-tier football.
Mohamed Salah, with 19 goals, was one of the star performers for the Reds in that season.
As their most recent league success, Liverpool won the Premier League 2024-25 title with 4 games to go in the season. Arne Slot's first season as the Liverpool manager gave them their 20th Title in the top flight and 2nd in the Premier League era.
Mohamed Salah again played a pivotal role in their success with 28 goals and counting.
4. Arsenal FC - 3 titles

In domestic football, Arsenal has won 13 league titles, a record 14 FA Cups, two League Cups, and 17 FA Community Shields, but they haven't won a single European title yet.

Another London club, Chelsea, is on this list, and there is no doubt why they are the best London Club in the Premier League. They won the title 5 times in the years 2004-05, 2005-06, 2009-10, 2014-15, and 2016-17.
The Blues won their first Premier League title under the 'Special One'Jose Mourinho, who completely changed the face of this London Club alongside Roman Abramovich, who was the Chelsea owner at that time.
They have also won the Champions League 2 times, alongside 2 Europa League titles.
2. Manchester City - 8 titles

In the 2023-24 season, Manchester City became the first club to win the Premier League for a record fourth consecutive season. No side in English football history had ever won the top-flight more than three years back-to-back.
They are the second Club after Manchester United to complete the three-pit in the Premier League and win the European treble.

Aston Villa came back from trailing to beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 at home, whereas Dortmund defeated Barcelona 3-1, but both sides were knocked out on aggregate.
Arsenal kept their UCL unbeaten streak against Real Madrid intact, beating them 2-1 in the second leg, advancing to the semis. Inter Milan also shared the spoils with Bayern Munich in a 2-2 draw, but sealed their passage to the semi-finals.

Playing at their home, Villa Park, Aston Villa did not get off to a good start, letting in two goals in 30 minutes, through the PSG full-backs Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes.
Paris Saint-Germain dominated the first half, despite ending it at 2β1 as Youri Tielemans pulled one back. The second half, though, was a Villa fairy tale, netting two more goals from McGinn and Konsa and hunting for the third. Marco Asensio, late on the field, promptly made his mark, nearly scoring against his parent club.
The Guirassy hat-trick could not keep this mercurial Borussia Dortmund side out. Even though FC Barcelona seemed all at sea, making mistake after mistake that we did not witness in last week's match, they were still able to keep them at bay.
They did not really begin to play like their own team until Pedri came onto the field in the later stages. Other notable players in this game were De Jong holding in the midfield and Szczesny playing like heβs in his prime. However, a Bensebaini own goal kept Barca on a two-goal cushion to safely guide them through to the semis.
"Remontada," a term that was heard being uttered repeatedly again and again with this Real Madrid team, mostly from Bellingham. However, Arsenal crushed their dream of a magical comeback with a 2-1 victory in the return leg at Bernabeu.
Bukayo Saka failed to convert an early penalty due to a marvellous save from Courtois. However, he redeemed himself with the opening goal in the 65th minute, but it was canceled out after Vinicius scored the equalizer only two minutes later.
Gabriel Martinelli netted the winner in injury time, leading Arsenal to another win against Real Madrid and keeping their unbeaten record against Los Blancos in the UCL intact.
Bayern Munich played pretty much the majority of the second leg on the back foot, but Inter Milan held them to a chilling 2-2 draw at home. Lautaro Martinez had enough opportunities, showed some lovely dibbles, and obviously scored; all of these earned him the man of the match award.
Kane did everything in his power, but it was just not good enough, and it's disappointing to see this Bayern side leave, particularly because it's MΓΌller's final Champions League campaign with the side.
It was Kane who opened the scoring, but two back-to-back strikes from Lautaro and Pavard put Inter at the top again. Eric Dier scored the equalizer from a tough angle, but the Bavarians failed to score another to equalize the tie β better to say, Inter Milan defended masterfully!

Longevity!
Thomas MΓΌller starts tonight and extends his record as the player with the most Champions League appearances for one single club. π
Starting XI: Jonas Urbig (GK); Konrad Laimer, Eric Dier, Kim Min-Jae, Josip StaniΕ‘iΔ; Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka; Micheal Olise, Thomas Muller (C), Leroy Sane; Harry Kane
Bayern will be without Jamal Musiala for the rest of the season, which opens the door for Raphael Guerreiro to potentially start as the number 10 again after his impressive performance off the bench against Dortmund. Although Thomas MΓΌller scored after being introduced from the bench last week, Guerreiro's contribution may earn him a starting spot.
Young goalkeeper Jonas Urbig will start again as Manuel Neuer's return date has been pushed back to the end of April at the earliest. The team is also facing a number of absentees in defense, with Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano, and Hiroki Ito all sidelined due to injury.
Inzaghi made minor rotations to his Inter team over the weekend, allowing players like Marcus Thuram, Alessandro Bastoni, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to rest in preparation for the second leg.
Mehdi Taremi has returned from a muscle injury and was on the bench for the match against Cagliari, while Kristjan Asllani will also be available again after serving a European suspension. However, both are expected to start as substitutes.
Piotr Zielinski and Denzel Dumfries remain sidelined due to injuries. Additionally, Inzaghi faces a decision at left wing-back, as Federico Dimarco has regained full fitness, but Carlos Augusto is currently playing exceptionally well.
