Leeds Utd vs Man Utd: Match Preview
Leeds United and Manchester United meet for the second time in five days following their 2-2 draw last Wednesday.
The Red Devils had to fight back from a two-goal deficit in order to salvage a point in the midweek clash, with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho's second-half goals giving the Old Trafford faithful something to cheer about after a grim start to the match for the home side.
Now the teams will meet at Elland Road on Sunday for the rematch, with Leeds looking to snap an eight-game winless streak that claimed former manager Jesse Marsch's job. Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag is looking for a good reaction from his team, especially at the start of each half, but he admitted that chemistry among the midfielders is still being worked on as players go in and out of the lineup.
Team News:
Leeds Utd:
Luis Sinisterra last just eight minutes at Old Trafford. Pascal Struijk also went off with a head injury early in the first half, so Junior Firpo should take his place from the start.
Leeds had wanted a new manager in charge of this one but, as it stands, the decisions will be left to the group of Michael Skubala, Paco Gallardo and Chris Armas.
Man Utd:
Casemiro remains suspended, leaving Erik ten Hag light in midfield. Marcel Sabizter can expect a second consecutive start alongside Fred as Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay and Donny van de Beek are all out.
Expect some movement in attack, with Alejandro Garnacho's Twitter like spree probably earning him a move to the bench instead of Jadon Sancho, who could start after scorig the equaliser.
There will be no Anthony Martial, who remains injured.
