Messi bids his farewell with a press conference earlier today from the Camp Nou. He got really emotional and burst out in tears during the presser. He received a standing ovation to announce the end of his 21 years with the club. However, Messi is a tough competitor and he confirmed he will play for a top-flight club in the coming years. However, he didn't directly address the issue of him going to PSG and refused it as a done deal. Although various reports suggest that Lionel Messi to PSG is a done deal.

According to a report by ESPN, Lionel Messi to PSG is a done deal and the player is awaiting his medical. The medical is supposedly taking place tonight or tomorrow morning in Paris. They also said that PSG will unveil Lionel Messi at the Eiffel Tower in the coming days.

However, Messi wanted to stay, he agreed to a 50% pay cut but Barcelona couldn't match the financial guidelines of Spanish league regulations.
