Match Preview
Klopp's side is unbeaten in all competition so it's only fair to assume that they're going to be favorites to go to the fourth round of the EFL cup. After a comprehensive 3-1 victory over the Hammers in the Premier League, Liverpool will be looking to get past Leicester City.
The Foxes on the other hand, have seven wins out of eight championship games, which is pretty impressive. They're playing some good football and have a squad which can give Liverpool a tough time in their home turf. Both the teams are high on confidence at the moment but tonight one or the other is going to be knocked out of the EFL Cup competition.
The last time Leicester City managed to beat Liverpool, was in the December of 2021. Since then the Foxes have conceded seven goals in three matches and scored just one in return. It would take Leicester a lot to beat a Liverpool side who's in the form of their life.
Team News
Klopp will more than likely ring the changes, particularly with such a big game away at Tottenham to come on Saturday.
Harvey Elliott, Wataru Endo and Stefan Bajčetic could all feature, along with Ibrahima Konate. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Thiago remain unavailable.
For the Foxes, Callum Doyle, Tom Cannon and Denis Praet are the only injury concerns.
