Everyone was shocked to see Phil Foden not starting the match. But Pep with his masterstroke brought the Englishman to make a huge contribution to the match. The midfielder was on the pitch only for 20 minutes but was decisive for City.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Jesus will miss the second leg due to his yellow card tonight. He will have to be benched in Madrid. From Atletico's point of view, it was quite interesting to see Luis Suarez not in action tonight for them. With only one goal deficit, they will be hoping for a comeback at their home in Madrid.
