A comfortable Manchester United win that should really have been an emphatic one. It strengthens their place in the top four, six points ahead of fifth-placed Spurs. McTominay gave the lead to United with Sancho getting the assist in the 36th minute of the match. Later, Martial doubled the scoreline in the second half after being subbed on by Erik ten Hag. Manchester United tore apart Everton in the first half with continuous attacks. Sabitzer & McTominay completely dominated the midfield while Sancho held strong on the left side of the pitch. Antony created so many opportunities for Rashford but it was not a bright day for him. He has already scored 28 goals for United including all competitions. United kept possession for most of the time and continuously tested Pickford. McTominay scored the goal in the 36th minute to give the lead to United. Sancho got a well-deserved assist after so many opportunities he already created before that finish.

Manchester United had 21 shots in the first half, and among them, they had 4-5 clear opportunities to extend the lead but Pickford kept Everton alive in the game with plenty of saves. It was Wan-Bissaka who spurned the best of the early opportunities to put Man Utd ahead. Antony hit the post with a left-footed strike from the edge of the box. The ball then fell perfectly into the path of Wan-Bissaka, who was being played onside. Ten Hag subbed in Martial for Antony while Eriksen returned after recovering from injury replacing Sabitzer. Coleman made a blunder of a mistake as Rashford's pass ended in the back of the net by martial in the 71st minute of the game. Rashford got his 4th assist of the season as United doubled up their scoreline quite in fashion.

Rashford had to be subbed off due to an injury he sustained during a collision in the opposition box. He left the stadium through the tunnel and it looked suspicious to the fans as if it was a serious injury. The match ended 2-0 in favour of United with 29 shots. A pure dominant performance that completely shattered the Everton side.
