Hello and welcome to another live coverage of the Indian Super League 2024-25. Tonight, we will be covering another chapter of the highly-anticipated rivalry where the two Southern rivals, Mumbai City FC and  Kerala Blasters FC will face each other at the Mumbai Football Arena at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.

Build Up

The last meeting between Mumbai City FC and Kerala Blasters was a goal galore but one-sided. Kerala Blasters crushed Mumbai by 8-0 in the opening game of the 2024 Durand Cup in Kolkata.

However, the scenarios are pretty different in the Indian Super League tonight, as Mumbai City will host Kerala Blasters at the Mumbai Football Arena where both teams are under severe pressure with their current performance and they will lock horns for all three points.

Mumbai City were held to a 1-1 draw in their last game against Odisha FC at home. Petr Kratky's men are in the 10th position league table with only 1 win so far in 5 matches and having 6 points. They lost against Jamshedpur FC at away and drew the other three. Also, The Islanders have only scored 7 goals, which is the lowest tally among the top 10 teams right now. The defending ISL Cup winners are under pressure as they will put their all to thrive and progress in the league table.

On the other hand, Kerala Blasters' journey in the ISL 2024-25 so far has been nothing short of a roller-coaster ride. The Tuskers are in the 9th position of the league table with 2 wins, 2 draws, and 2 defeats and collecting 8 points in 6 matches. Mikael Stahre's battalion lost to Bengaluru FC by 1-3 in their last ISL outing. However, their Moroccan talisman Noah Sadoui, and forward Jesus Jimenez are in fine form. After missing out on the Bengaluru game, Sadaoui is expected to return tonight.

As a nail-biting ISL encounter is set to take place in Mumbai from 7:30 PM IST onwards, sit back and enjoy the game with Sportzpoint bringing you all the LIVE updates, news, and scores
