The Maldives National Football stadium will host the finale of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship of Nepal vs India on 16th October. Nepal and India will be locking horns on the stadium from 8:30 p.m. Though India had an apprehensive start to the tournament, India managed to secure their position in the finals against Nepal.
India revived their 2021 journey after two back-to-back wins against their final competitor Nepal and also defending champions Maldives. Nepal has also proved themselves to be worthy of this tournament by defeating the Maldives and drawing with Bangladesh to enter their maiden SAFF final.
