Odisha FC registered their first-ever win in ISL against Mohun Bagan. 10 men Odisha FC held on to their lead and finished the home leg with a narrow victory over 10 men Mohun Bagan Super Giant. Carlos Delgado first canceled out Manvir Singh's lead and Roy Krishna found the net against his former team to provide Odisha with the first-half lead. The second half was expected to be more amazing but both teams conceded a red card each. Sadiku and Delgado will miss the second leg at Kolkata but it is going to be an exciting contest. If Mohun Bagan manages to make a comeback and win the semi-final, then the final will be played at their home.

Mohun Bagan is trying everything to get a late equalizer while Odisha is trying to hold on to their narrow lead and doesn't want to concede a late equalizer.

Diego Mauricio and Aniket replace Roy Krishna and Isak.

What is happening here in Odisha? The Kalinga Warriors are also down to 10 men now. It's a hand ball from Delgado and the referee shows him a yellow card, his second one of the night. It's 10 vs 10 now at the Kalinga Stadium.

Sadiku and Jahouh go for the ball in the air and the former fouls the Moroccan. Ahmed Jahouh is down to the ground. The referee gives Sadiku his second yellow and MBSG are down to 10 men.

Isak fiers into the final third and beats Anwar Ali. He takes a shot but it gets cleared by Tangri.

Petratos takes the free-kick and he shoots it on target. Amrinder makes a good save but the ball lands on the feet of Anwar. He takes a shot on the rebound but it flies over the net.

Delgado gets a yellow card and he will miss the away leg against the Mariners.

Mohun Bagan tries to score the equalizer. Colaco sends in a cross from the left for Sadiku. But, Delgado intercepts by heading the ball out of danger.

Jerry fouls Colaco and it's a free kick for MBSG. Colaco takes the free-kick but the shot goes off target.

Roy Krishna became Odisha FC’s highest goalscorer in a single season after scoring his side’s second goal in this match. He got past Diego Mauricio’s record of 12.

The second half between Odisha and Mohun Bagan begins at the Kalinga Stadium

Half-time in Odisha. The home team is leading by 2-1 at their fortress as Carlos Delgado first cancelled out Manvir Singh's lead and Roy Krishna found the net against his former team. Odisha looked like the better team with more chances created and more touches in the final third.  

Yellow cards for Amay Ranawade and Armando Sadiku for going against each other with elbows.

Odisha FC are on the attack again. Ahmed Jahouh with the cross and Fall jumped in the air to get the header in, but Sadiku did enough to not let Fall have a clean header.

Isak Ralte with a great chest trap to receive the ball first and then gave it to Jerry on the right. However, Herry decided to take a chance with along range shot and missed the target. 

Dimitri Petratos went for an Olympico, but Amrinder with a rush punches the ball away for another corner.

Abhishek Raghuvanshi gets the yellow card for a foul on Ahmed Jahouh.

Dimitri Petratos's curled free-kick misses the target by a whisker. Though, Amrinder had it covered, he was not happy with the jump of the wall.

Mohun Bagan were caught in the counter-attack and a cross whipped in from Amay Ranawade was blocked by Anwar Ali. Jerry was waiting there to tap the ball into the goal. 

Dimitri Petratos took his chance with a right-footer from outside the box. Amrinder had an easy save. 

Ohh Vishal Kaith is so lucky here. Kaith caught Roy Krishna inside the box and the referee at first had signed for a penalty. However, then it was found that Krishna was offside before the tackle. So, Kaith and Mohun Bagan have a sigh of relief. 

Carlos Delgado puts everything on level. Two goals, and now have come from a corner. Ahmed Jhaouh whips it, and Vishal Kaith and the defenders miss it completely. An unmarked Delgado puts the ball into the back of the goal. OFC 1-1 MBSG.

Pressure on Mohun Bagan here. Three corners taken by Ahmed Jahouh but Roy and Mourtada Fall could not be on target with their header. 

After making a great run on the flank, Isak Ralte's cross goes straight into the hands of Vishal Kaith. Roy Krishna was waiting there inside the box. He would be disappointed with the cross. 

Five yards out and no one is marking Mnavir inside the box. Mourtada Fall watched everything happening. Manvir takes the opportunity and heads down the ball inside the goal. Dimitri Petratos with the corner.

"We will go for the win. But, we can not afford to lose the game. A draw is fine but, we can not lose the game," said Mohun Bagan Super Giant boss Antonio Lopez Habas.

"We are going to play against the current shield winners' team. They have a very good team, but also we have a very good team and we are unbeaten in Kalinga. We want to keep the momentum in terms of our results at home. Our target is to finish the season unbeaten," said Odisha FC head coach Sergio Lobera.

After finishing fourth in the points table, Sergio Lobera's men defeated Kerala Blasters FC in the playoffs knockouts to reach the semi-finals. 

Mohun Bagan Super Giant with 48 points in 22 games topped the points table and won the ISL shield trophy for the first time in their history. As they topped the points table, they qualified for the semi-finals directly. In the final league game they defeated Mumbai City FC to win the shield. 

Kalinga Stadium, built in 1978, is situated at the heart of Bhubanewsher in Odisha. This is a multipurpose stadium with facilities for Athletics, Football, Hockey, Basketball, Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton Volleyball, Wall Climbing and Swimming.
