The Indian football team will face Lebanon in the SAFF Championship 2023 semi-finals. Lebanon, who won all of their group games, topped the Group B. In their last match against Maldives, it was captain Maatouk's goal which made sure they top the group and remain undefeated.
Meanwhile, India, who had to be satisfied with a draw against Kuwait, could not top Group-A just by goal difference. Hence, they will now have to face a stronger side in Lebanon in the semi-final of the SAFF Championship 2023.
