Sergio Aguero was forced to hang up his boots for good after enduring such an episode whilst playing for Barcelona.

Sergio Aguero has since become a regular on popular streaming platform Twitch since his early retirement.

Since he has gone from strength to strength as a public personality, being hired as a commentator by various channels in Argentina. He also accompanied the Argentine national team while they at the World Cup in Qatar, hoisting Lionel Messi on his shoulders to the crowd.

But on Wednesday night, it was during his stream where a further heart arrhythmia happened.

Aguero could be seen pausing for a moment, before then placing his hand on his chest.

The former Argentina forward was accompanied by Ibai Llanos, one of the biggest streamers in Spain.

Llanos, having noticed Aguero's pause and movement, said: "What's up, man?"

Sergio Aguero then replied: "I think… I think… I just had a mini-arrhythmia."

Llanos then asked him if he needed a doctor, but Aguero said: "No, no. Because I have a chip and the famous chip will detect it and send a signal."

Sergio Aguero was substituted against Alaves back in October 2021, and scans later diagnosed him with heart arrhythmia, before doctors urged him retire to prevent further risk.

He was later fitted with a pacemaker, but confirmed his retirement in an emotional press conference at the Camp Nou, just three months after arriving at the Catalan giants.

Serigio Aguero was a special guest during the World Cup, and could be seen celebrating Argentina's triumph with close friend and countryman Lionel Messi.
