Nothing have gone according to plan since Tuchel's arrival in Bayern Munich. The German tactician joined Bayern in March as the replacement for Julian Nagelsmann. The real reason behind Nagelmann's sacking was the lack of consistency and guess what it hasn't changed despite welcoming the coach Thomas Tuchel.
Tuchel and the Club have come to a decision that the German coach will leave the club at the end of the season after a run of three straight losses which is a real concern right now. This could be the club's first season without a trophy in 12 years.

Bayern said the decision was made at a meeting between Tuchel and chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen. Tuchel's contract was due to run through the end of the 2024-25 season. There was no word from the club on a possible successor.
"Our goal is to carry out a sporting realignment with a new coach for the 2024-25 season," Jan-Christian Dreesen said. "Until then, every individual in the club is expressly challenged to achieve the maximum possible in the Champions League and the Bundesliga," he added.
"I also explicitly hold the team responsible. Especially in the Champions League, we are convinced after the defeat at Lazio we will advance to the quarter-finals with our fans behind us," Dressen concluded.

Last season, Tuchel's team won the Bundesliga title last season but they needed a slip from Borussia Dortmund on the final day of the season to edge ahead on goal difference. Since then nothing have gone well for Bayern.
First, they got butchered (3-0) by Leipzig in the German Super Cup Final and then were knocked out of the DFB-Pokal in October by third-division Saarbruecken.

Now they have registered three straight losses. Bayern lost 3-0 against Bayer Leverkusen, 1-0 against Lazio and most recently 3-2 against Bochum on Sunday. The Bundesliga leader Leverkusen are now 8 points clear of the reigning champions. Bayern also might get eliminated from the Champions League when they face Lazio in the round of 16 second leg.
