This is where the UEFA Champions League gets good. The knockout rounds of the 2022/23 competition featuring the cream of the crop kick off with the Round of 16 beginning in February.
The Round of 16 draw on Monday, November 7 did not disappoint. It pit the group winners against one of the group runners-up and it served up some real treats with Real Madrid vs. Liverpool among the biggest ties.
The eight group winners were the seeded teams and were paired with the runners-up who were unseeded.
There were a couple of restrictions like teams from the same group were drawn against each other, while clubs from the same national association were also barred from facing one another.
All eyes were on PSG's Round of 16 fate as they face a daunting two-legged affair against Bayern Munich.
They'll be hoping to avoid a repeat of last season when their bid for their first Champions League trophy ended at the Round of 16 stage after a difficult draw, losing out to eventual champions Real Madrid.
