Manu Carreño gave the latest news on this issue on 'El Larguero'. If it is proven that Barca breached the regulations, could leave Xavi's side out of European competitions. According to the regulations, a punishment could last up to five years if it is determined that they violated UEFA's legal framework. In such a case, it would not be able to play in the Champions League or the Europa League.

The body chaired by Ceferin recruited Two inspectors. They will get into the case to find out why Barcelona paid Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira. The relation between Barca & former vice-president of the Technical Committee of Referees needs to be resolved.

"UEFA will ask for exemplary punishment for Barcelona. Ceferin does not want what he asks for to be denied by CAS, but he will demand a historic sanction," said Manu Carreno. "We'll see what happens..." he added.
