FIH Junior Women's World Cup 2022 finally commences from 2 April till 13 April in South Africa. The 2022 edition is going to be the ninth edition of the prestigeous tournament. International Hockey Federation organizes this biennial world championship every year.

FIH Junior Women's World Cup 2022 was supposed to start on 5 December 2021 but got postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19. There are a total of 4 pools in this tournament and India falls in Pool D. Germany, Wales, and Malaysia also joined India in Pool D.
